I love this couple angie and jesse are amazing together. I am so glad that debbie found out that they were looking for some one to play anige cuz they should have just gave the roll back to her she should not have had to audition for the part she is the orignal angie. and that is why this love story is so heartfelt and this couple is loved by so many. they are the very first black couple of daytime and are still going strong.
I agree with the previous posters that this is the best soap promo I've seen in years. Even if I didn't know Angie and Jesse (and even though I was just a kid during their heyday, I knew them), I'd still be interested.

Aw!!! I really love this commercial. Alicia's song goes so perfect. I watched some old eps of them on SoapNet. I'm so glad they showed them, cause now im lookin forward to watching AMC. I wasn't even born when they were on, but I can't wait to catch up!!

WAY better promo that the annoying 'real Greenlee' ones. This is how you promote a return. I didnt' even watch the show back then and really have no clue who they are, but I'm looking forward to their return.

I agree with you, TKfan06. I'm not sure why ABC Daytime decided to have the return of Angie and Jessie be "secondary" to "The Return of the REAL Greenlee". A character to had to have her back-story re-created in order to have her father be Jack Montgomery.
The is great, Angie and Jesse coming back to AMC is an absolute asset, their relationship has brought whole Black families back to daytime.
