That is and always will be the coolest 1st gen Camaro ever. I fell in love with this car when i first saw this movie when i was just a little kid. This Camaro was not a movie prop. It was an actual race car with a heavily modified engine chasis and body. If you watch the movie or have seen the real car, it has flared wheel wells, full roll cage, a cockpit full of switches and guages and multi carb hi -po engine with side pipes. This car could do everything it did in the movie and then some!

This was back in the 70s and remember the tune of Elton John Bennie and the Jets. This movie also included a bit part for Edward Olmos in the pool hall "They call them markers" Great movie, thank you Paul.

Paul LeMat was such a Cool actor in both those movies. Every kid in my neihborhood want to act like him and have a car like his. What ever happen to his acting caree??? I loved the guy.

I met Paul Lemat at the show in Atlanta. He was a great guy. the camaro and the coupe were there. He told me he had wondered where the camaro was these days and that his friend (Rick?) had bought the car and suprised him with it unexpectly. the camaro had the original paint from the film but looked hot. I loved this film and was happy to see the actual car after all these years

The car and the guy in the car are from a mid-70's movie called Aloha Bobby & Rose.

Rose is the name of Diane Hall's character in "Aloha Bobby and Rose". Paul is messing around acting like he's Bobby.  It's a really good movie. It was made in 1975. I'd tell you what it's about but I don't want to give anything away. You should see the movie.
