is he using an effect to get those percussion suonds with his guitar?

@keo774 He has a mic INSIDE the guitar, which allows the percussive stuff he does to come thru so clear. But otherwise, it is exactly as you see. Just him pattin', knockin', tappin, beatin' on the guitar. And rubbin' the "raw" spots on it for the scratchy sound. He was just here in Chicago AGAIN, last week. And was equally as awesome as last time =o)

I was there at that concert! It was fantastic! He is just beyond talented with the guitar and his rapport with the audience is excellent. Unfortunately he is not coming back this year though QQ

WOW, oh my friggin' guitar god, I think this has to be thee most impressive performance I have seen Tommy do. His soul so brilliantly shines through. And losing both the brush and the mic? Priceless! hahaha
