  • can you use other magnets rather than the Rare earth magnetic disks?? pls reply as i need your reply as urgent as possible

  • @418shawong Rare earth magnets were used to make the LED shine the brightest as they were strong. We did not test it with other magnets, sorry.

  • can u plz help me: i dont know how to connect the coil together

  • @Ashemolover There is a diagram in the instruction manual to show you how to connect the coils together. That is the best way to show how to connect them. If you trace the path of the current, the outside of the coils should all point in the same overall direction. You can use the same copper wire to connect the coils together.

  • thanks dude, awesome, it helped me a LOT!!!

  • Thanks for putting this video on it's great!!!!!! If you can answer my question thanks a million! Hope to here from u soon. Thanks

  • Do you know if you can charge AA batteries with this???? If you can how would you charge AA batteries with this and how long would it approximately take to charge????? If you can please answer to these questions thank you.

  • @4L3X4ND3R5 I do not recommend putting a battery on the wires to try to charge it. You could adapt this project to do other things (ex. buzzer instead of LED) but it would take some effort to build something to charge batteries.

  • great video, can you tell me for what grade and class was this project for? you look young and already making renewable DYI energy solutions, that is commendable, now find a way to make your system cheap and more efficient and start a company, there are so many out there that sell systems for 1000s of dollars witch is simply stupid, I am sure you can do way much better.

  • @truvak This was for a university project. The instructions and project were meant for any age with any necessary proper adult supervision (ex. tools and hot glue).

  • how strong is the magnet?

  • @anti1china Sorry, we didn't measure the strength in gauss.

  • @NLEngineering and u answer 1 year after my science fair finished? omg

  • Nice design. People can also consider sending the output to a Joule Thief circuit before the LED's, so that even slower winds can light the LED's.

  • @trailkeeper That would be a good start to upgrade the homemade wind turbine!

  • Nice job Congrats. Are you offering the model , plans , kits or the real thing? Is the drawing (animation ) CAD . I am really interested. Please answer back. Thanks. rmmnet

  • @rmmnet We tried to choose materials that would be fairly easy to obtain. The 3D model was done to show different angles for the credits.

  • 1 to 2 volts, nice turbine, simple concept to a power solution!! Good job, hope to see more of vids.
