This video is more than twenty years old. I'm from the UK but I was in Gyokusendo in 2007 where they have a habu farm. While they still have Habu and Mongoose on display they are kept separated by glass partitions. This kind of thing is forbidden now, at least in Japan.
I hope they dont do this anymore. When I was a kid I went to look at a monkey show of this kind in Japan and we were warned not to look into their eyes. A group of mentally challenged people were in the crowd staring at the monkeys, when suddenly one of them threw a cane violently towards one of the guy. You could tell they were treated like shit and under extreme stress. I felt so bad for these animals but the crowd was applauding. So sad there's such a stupid public out there to keep this goin
