I like her version, rocks harder than the Peter Noone version, but still he was a great singer, performer as well and had many hits. Classic episode, THANKS!
OMG! Was that Hermen's Hermits backing Patty on their own song?! She's so cute I love her and remember watching her show when I was only 3 years old. My older brothers and sisters thought it was so cute how " in to it I was at such a young age. Especially the season with her getting her head stuck in the drain pipe on the shows opening. I forget what season it was bit thought it was so funny. Thank you!
patty duke has, is, and always will be better looking then sally field, i'm tired of people bringing up sally field next to patty's name. it's annoying.
I still love her! 40+ years ago I was her biggest fan... but I kept it a secret. Now, these many years later, I realize she's always been a classic A++ act!
Patty Duke was psychologically and sexually abused by her managers. She was miserable during the time she did "The Patty Duke Show." They wouldn't even let her watch it.
@noXoneXyouXwannaXno me and your dad, I thought Sally Field was cuter, but I hated the touch and site of bare feet so much as a kid I wouldn't watch it.
@dahur Right, and next to Burton was Delaney Bramlett of Delaney and Bonnie, the guy who Clapton said taught him how to sing the blues! The band was The Shindogs, from the show Shindig! Too bad there was no piano here -- it probably would have been played by Leon Russel.
CUTE AND WONDERFUL to see - PATTY DUKE has scored amazingly well on Broadway, Films, Television and even in the Recording field. She is one of the very view performers to have sucessfully made the difficult transition from Child actress to Teen actress to adult roles.
It was Patty pretending to be Cathy, since Patty was not invited to this party. Also, I did post the Funny Little Butterflies number from this song as well.
In the pilot episode and the ep Cousins Cathy is from Scotland, I guess they later changed it to England as Patty had more of an English accent than Sottish..:)
ok, it had to be, I havent seen this in years, but i couldnt imagine Cathy being so brave either, she moved like Patty when she was singing, but at the end, she immediately went into Cathy, amazing actress-lol-Eddie Applegate was a trip-is he still alive?
help keep the patty duke show on tv..it comes on the "This" channel.

I don't think that Ms.Duke's singing is so bad here..she does a capable job here.

Sally Field and Patty Duke are around the same age, but Ms. Field looks remarkable whereas Ms. Duke looks are very haggardly.

Did the guy say it was Cathy who's singing? When did she get that brave?
Patty also sang "Funny Little Butterflies" on this ep. Can someone please post the whole show?
