Oh, something that was really good in the movie was that the couple were not the stereotypical dumbasses we tend to see in "horror movies" and the "horror" didnt rely on them being retarded, because they werent. Their mistakes were stuff that normal people can do, making them believeable.

Just watched the movie and it wasnt bad but... the shaky camera was annoying as hell, didnt make it "scary" at all, its just a lame effect that only makes sense in certain type of movies (REC, Blair, etc)

it's a good movie but:

1. it's verry dark

2. the camera work is not steady, so the image is shocking in the action scene's

3. some bits are spoken in kantonese (and my subs didn't work)

still this movie is worth your time (i've seen it twice)

@dscrd1 Thanks, DSCRD1! I agree on all fronts. For some f**king reason, the transfer of the film ended up too dark. It looked great during color correction but it ended up looking like crap on DVD and NETFLIX. So frustrating when you put so much time into the film and it ends up way too dark.

And you're spot on about the shakiness. I went a bit too far on that front. LIve and learn!

The first part was good but I didn´t like the second part of the movie. They should have made it in different way. Rec, Paranormal activity, The Ring and ofcourse Blair Witch project were better. But that´s just my opinion. When they sacrificed them, I wanted to kill them all, those people in that house. :)) Yeah, it´s just a movie. I´d move to different part of China if I was one of those people. I can´t understand it.

The movie is very "dark" because the story is almost entirely set during the night. Besides causing some discomfort, still overshadows the beauty of the lovely actress Amy Smart.

Me estoy iniciando en esto de la critica de cine... y toda produccion hay que observarla desde muy debajo y tiene muchos aspectos que evaluar. Septima Luna tiene muy buena historia y una excelente actuación estelar de sus protagonistas, especialmente de Ami Smart... la recomiendo para hacerse una super estrella del cine. Lo malo: demasiada oscuridad y demasiado vaiven de las escenas. Se debio proyectar mas accion con tomas mas ligeras. Y hacer mas irreales a los espíritus.

i have to say this was a legitimate scary movie, i watched it the other night and was truly scared by it. It had plenty of "edge of the seat" moments. At first i thought it was gunna be a really cheap and low budget movie cause i had never heard of it or heard of any of the actors but i was really surprised at how good/scary it was. I would recommend it.

This movie was excellent and had plenty of "edge of your seat " moments.Amy Smart did an outstanding job as well as Tim Chiou.The Ending was also brilliant.Well worth the watch

Just finished watching. I'd have to say that the beginning was a bit slow but stick with it because the end was really good. The two main characters were believable enough for me to care about what was happening to them. I'd say it was worth the rent.

Very dark & spooky. Amy Smart is outstanding! The Chinese theme is very timely - a nice counterpoint to the Olympics. Must see when released.

I recently attended the screening for this movie today and I must say it was laid out quite nicely. The entire movie kept you on the edge of your seat and Amy Smart is brillian in it. I really liked the story line and would highly recommend spending the money to see it on the big screen once the movie is picked up! two thumbs up and I am very scepticle
