  • nope lol pete can do it all !!!!

  • The balcony was bouncing at the Kee that night.

  • i was at this concert........epic man! wish i could have those days back again! kee to bala rocks

  • Fredette on drums, is there anything this guy can't do.

  • anyone remember him at O'Donnell's Big Rideau Lakes Resort, what a great show

  • I seriously underestimated the entire band...

  • this is actually on a dvd, as part of Kim Mitchell's greatest Hits Fill Your Head with rock. It was made over in Sweden when Kim headlined a show out there chances are you can grab a copy on Ebay

  • Thanks for posting! I wish they'd release this one and other Big Ticket concerts on DVD. Not likely to happen, but one can always hope!

  • these guys are amazing i have a recerd signed kim mitchell and peter ferdett

  • The best place on earth to see a concert!!! My cottage is 7mins away!!!

  • A big thank you for posting songs from this show on You Tube!! I lost my VHS Big Ticket tape from Much Music and now I can finally watch these again. Kim, Peter, Greg and Lou all played amazing on this night.

  • I have a different memory. I was 2 years underage and could't go to the show. I played vieo games at the Balacade, and after the show I had some asshole nearly kill me by strangulation claiming I was fu**ing around in his boat. This is Can Con shit and it seems good in retrospect to you guys because you were drunk and not married.

  • Molino does a lot of work with Trevor Rabin of Yes fame now.

  • aww man this so cool i was there that night..plz somebody outhere..put up a KEE to BALA channel. between kim mitchell, David wilcox(not the lame folkie from the states, but rather blues-boogie-woogie-high sheriff of hell david wilcox), kim w/Max Webster, theHip.April Wine..oh man so many shows so many summers..Muskoka is teh place to be in the Summers..accept no substitutes.AWESOME THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING!!

  • I was also at that show and the acoustics in the Kee were totally amazing especially since that famous old dance hall was designed for orchestras in the early 20 and 30s . I have been telling people about the three drum solo for years now but I can actually now show them. People were calling me from all over saying that they saw us punks jamming on the dance floor. Damn 20 years now I friggn feel really old now :(

    Cheers HEAD

  • This is Greg Wells writing, and it's a trip to watch this almost 20 years later! My mullet! I'm 19 in this video. I remember being PARALYSED with nerves before going on. It was our third concert ever as a band... my third gig with Kim in front of an audience... and we had MuchMusic camera guys jamming cameras in our faces the whole afternoon at soundcheck and all night. Not for the timid. What a complete honour and blast it was to play with these guys. Kim is such an underrated guitarist.

  • I remember this concert Greg. I saw you guys eight times that summer. What a blast!I can't believe its been almost 20 years.Where the hell did the time go?

  • ♥♥♥♥..nuf said

  • Peter Fredette is an animal, he can do it all

  • Key To Bala..I was there that night...brings back memories...

  • kee....LOL

  • In First Place: Molino (and no, I wouldn't a drummer wearing glass but I'd sure like to shake his hand afterwards for doing such an awesome job)

In Second Place: Fredette (wow, he can pound as well as slap and finger!)

In Third Place: Wells (dunno much about this cutie, but he's still groovy to me)

Cheers! Here's looking forward to seeing the KMB i Carp on Sept 23rd :)

  • Thanks, I have wanted to see that again since I saw it live. My friends who didn't go never believed how friggin awesome it was. I'll be looking for the dvd.

  • In this particular video Molino plays circles around both Wells and Fredette - I'd probably take Molino, a few Ginkgo Balboa, and a set of flash cards if I were looking for a drummer ;-)

  • Wells is a keyboardist, and Fredette is a bassist, so they both do pretty well considering drums isn't their main instrument.

  • Hey, where's the rest of the show? I played in a band with Greg Wells when we were both kids. He was always amazing. I remember this show when it happened. It would be a great piece of nostalgia to see the rest of it.

  • Kim included it on a greatest hit's collection called "Fill Your Head with Rock" the first disc is a greatest hits and the second is this concert on DVD. I have it and it's great!
