For the first time, this song was unable to make me cry. I really want to cry, normally listening to this song opens the floodgates, but t didn't this time. There's only one option left. I didn't ever want to do it, but I want to cry, and I can't think of another way.
When I hear this song, I can just imagine my wedding day as I walk down the aisle in my wedding dress. Everything beautiful. Everything hopeful. Everything perfect.

@soulscreed I'm sometimes touched by people in the news when they're hit with catastrophy. Especially if it's someone I don't know, just someone anonymous, struck with a personal tragedy. Recently they interviewed someone who got fired after 30+ years of loyalty in one of those mass unemployment events. He broke out in tears on camera. That's just heart wrenching. Especially since I know it's something very real, unlike ponies and fiction etc. So there's hope for me yet.
This left me short on words to describe, after reading a circle of friends with this on, I just could not make up my mind if I was either sad or happy. This music just described all the emotions that ran through my head reading it. Thank you, Reasoner for this work of art that you have shared with us.

This song, to me at least, speaks of... memories. Walks. Summer, laughter, playing and running without a care in the world, through fields of tall grass and over fences and stiles and walls, swimming in a lake with friends, your first love... all of these things. It speaks of friends long gone but never forgotten, and of fond recollection, and... things that don't have a name but are part of the fundamental human psyche.
Well, congratulations. You just made a combat veteran cry. I didn't even cry when I lost my boys in Sangin, but that story hit me in the guts. Life comes and life goes. All you've got in the end is the memories.
While i dont read alot, or dwell into these kinds of things, the story together with this music was the first thing to made me shed tears in many months.
It was just so beautiful and filled with life, and it makes me want to cherish the people and passions i have in my life even more. I love you all and im happy i get to share something as beautiful as this with you...

Sounds like what God, in his eternity, must be like. I like to think that each world is a unique place of it's own, and God lets us understand him and follow, through physical representations of himself, like Aslan in Narnia, Celestia in Equestria, and Jesus here in Earth.

@ULTRAMARIOX James had just finished cleaning up winter by himself. The ground was cleared of snow, all of the plants were in the ground, it was even his record time, 2 days. James decided to visit his friends, now that he was done.
None of James's friends talked to him, these day they just listened. James spent some company with them for most of the day, and looked up at Celestia's sun. It was hitting daybreak, so James decided to leave, as his friends needed rest.
It had been a long winter, but somepony had to clean it up. James always did the Winter Wrap up, his friends had stopped helping him, but He still cleaned up winter. His friends seemed to only sleep these days, unlike when they used to laugh and play with James.
James was the only pony in town who ever did anything anymore. Nopony else ever seemed to leave they're beds. He didn't blame them, they weren't to be held responsible.

Didn't cry at it too hard, but it was inspiring as fuck, that's why I love this fandom, it never ceases to amaze me, even if the show were to be cancelled and every fan website were taken down, it couldn't replace what it put in my heart. That it's ok to be yourself, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Bronies for Life.
Whilst I did not cry from the fic (Twilight seemed oddly upbeat considering the nature of the memories, like she had come to truly understand immortality and it's curse-blessing) I did find this song to be a nice listen to. I have since replayed it a few times, most notably to help keep me calm while I deflected trolls from Applejack on Drawball :s

@TekranoXx You my friend miss the point of art. He may have composed it for a reason, but that is where the beauty lies. It may be interpreted for any number of different reasons. This song is just as beautiful for Revanches interpretation, as it is for the initial. Music is meant to be interpreted, not limited to a single mind frame. @ULTRAMARIOX James had just finished cleaning up winter by himself. The ground was cleared of snow, all of the plants were in the ground, it was even his record time, 2 days. James decided to visit his friends, now that he was done.
None of James's friends talked to him, these day they just listened. James spent some company with them for most of the day, and looked up at Celestia's sun. It was hitting daybreak, so James decided to leave, as his friends needed rest.

It had been a long winter, but somepony had to clean it up. James always did the Winter Wrap up, his friends had stopped helping him, but He still cleaned up winter. His friends seemed to only sleep these days, unlike when they used to laugh and play with James.
James was the only pony in town who ever did anything anymore. Nopony else ever seemed to leave they're beds. He didn't blame them, they weren't to be held responsible.

Didn't cry at it too hard, but it was inspiring as fuck, that's why I love this fandom, it never ceases to amaze me, even if the show were to be cancelled and every fan website were taken down, it couldn't replace what it put in my heart. Whilst I did not cry from the fic (Twilight seemed oddly upbeat considering the nature of the memories, like she had come to truly understand immortality and it's curse-blessing) I did find this song to be a nice listen to. I have since replayed it a few times, most notably to help keep me calm while I deflected trolls from Applejack on Drawball :s
