  • id be happy i=if one day they'd invent a bed that turns into a bookshelf when u wake up

  • @GOdsire16 EASY!! Just recess a wall bed just a little deeper and a little higher than normal, put a book case on the underside of bed, put in some top and bottom lips on hinges onto each shelf, have them each lock shut. Put books of equal size into shelves that just fit the hight, lock the lips in place, pull down your bed. Down side:- you're forever locking and unlocking the lips and if you forget; What a mess!!!

  • excellent! put a 1/4 horse dc motor on that thing, then flip a switch.

  • That looks great.

  • HE JUST LIKE DOING IT BY HAND !!! ....

  • how about putting some electric motor? turning it will be so tiring. :)

  • Look like a medieval torture table. Sorry.

  • That is kickass! Nice job.

  • awesome

  • sometimes you have to let go of the rustic tradition and stick an electric motor on 'er.5 stars btw

  • I can operate it with a cordless drill, and I plan to post another video showing that.

    Thanks!

    Charlie

  • I'm with you on this. I think he just making it to look pretty. Hehe! Just look at the table, no scratches.

If it was me, the table top would be all scratch up and scar with cuts.

  • as engineering project is great

  • lol, the unedited version is at voypics com

  • why not use a drill?

  • Actually, a drill or better yet, a cordless impact driver would work great!

    Thanks, Charlie

  • huevon!

  • Looks more like a piece of furniture, never been used, maybe never will. Looks sturdy though.

  • looks to fancy to use as a workbench.

  • why?

  • I can adjust it high for detail work. It helps prevent back aches from working at a bench that is too low. It can be adjusted to match my table saw or my bandsaw for an in feed or an out feed table. It can be adjusted low for kids to work at. It can also be adjusted down to use it as an assembly table. Also, the built in mobile base makes it very easy to move around.

  • @JackBench - There is no way I would let a kid work on that beautiful bench, no way I would work on it either. It might get a scratch it. - If I ever got one of those I would put it in my living room or den.

  • @specialks1953 Thanks for the compliment! I really do use this bench. It was tough watching those first scratches, but it is a great bench and it makes the time in my shop more enjoyable. No more backaches from working at a bench that is too low.

  • Scissor jack in there? The pipe clamps to make everything solid after you get it adjusted to the height you want? Looks very good.

  • Only one word fits in here "Awesome". That's not a workbench as much as it is a piece artwork of a fine piece of furniture.

  • be a shame to mark the surface!

  • Great Idea and it looks nice to
