Just saw this for the 1st time last night. I thought it was MEANT to feel like the old Batman show? It was funny, and had some pretty good choreography.

Of course, I've seen the Christian Bale movies already, and so didn't have some righteous "need" to see a dark knight version when i watched this one, and was able to watch it without some self-imposed expectations upon peer movie-viewing enjoyment...

I never thought it was a bad thing to draw from the old adam west show. After all its just as much a part of the batman story as the complex psycological versions. In fact I liked Arnie in this, as I do think he actually can convey emotion and is a better actor than people give him credit for. I also liked the mad professor Ivy kills because its the same guy who played Daniel Clamp in Gremlins 2, and I like to think thats what he ended up doing after the gremlins wrecked Clamp Tower.
