When a huge crowd gets stuck in a tight space (a tunnel) the air grows thin. That's what I think initially started the panic. People were pressing from two different directions, people were getting crushed, the air was thin and it was getting hard to breathe. Anyone would panic. It's awful this happened. RIP for all those perished, and I pray for their loved ones.
