ok after watchign this whole movie...first off I liked it...but it does paint a scary picture of how a utopian society would have to function. Saw the movie. Liked the idea of eating more naturally and fresh and being in tune with the nature. Hated the idea of tree hugging hippies and clowns. What a beautiful movie of higher consciousness, with so much truth in it! This planet seems the kind of place we could aim for on Earth (not in every literal sense - we are not all acrobats for example!). But sharing , giving, being in tune with and respecting all of nature and every living being does not need to be so hard to do! Obliterating our use of money and changing the way we eat is perhaps a bigger step yet possible. Everything is possible eventually, even giving up meat altogether!
@jomoonvisions I have a theory. It's just a wild theory that i pulled out of my ass. I think the issue with us consuming everything and obliterating our home is that we are omnivores. We have to be either meat eaters or plant eaters. When a certain food source runs low we starve, die, reproduce less, until we reach an equilibrium with the whole ecosystem. We however eat other things when one thing is low. Our range of food is as wide as a pig. And pigs destroy everything without a predator
@jomoonvisions about meat...I am a weight lifter and I know you can get certain types of amino acids from vegetables and if you use the right combinations you can even get a complete protein (like in meat) but I find it funny that there are no good vegetable based protein powders on the market...they only have Whey(made from milk)...just a thought but I could easily stop eating meats if I could get complete proteins otherwise.

@various8 I would have to be eating way to many carbohydrates if I got all of my protein from vegetable sources...now if there was a processed variety IE protein extracted from vegetable sources that would be acceptable. I really wish they had a well balanced protein powder from a vegetable source...things like high levels of glutamine and BCAA's are extremely important for anyone who lives an active lifestyle.
@josh1492 there is an easy way to get protein from super greens. try Synergy Organic Super Greens, it has more protein in by percentage than most meats. just have a look around. elephants have massive muscles and break trees down, they never eat meat. ... you dont need to eat it. actually its bad for you. but your choice
@conceptual0theorist vegetarian animals have special bacteria that live in their stomachs that feed on vegetation and in turn provide the animal with protein .... I dont have that ability being a human haha. LG Sciences had a protein powder made from Yellow Pea Protein Isolates that was high quality, had high BCAA content, High levels of glutamine and had a good protein profile but was discontinued because demand was not high enough and they were not making any money.I will check on your sug tho
@josh1492 Hi josh, i do have another suggestion for protein. All though its derived from milk/whey so is not vegan but it is better than meat i would think. and that is Reflex Natural Whey. It is to my knowledge the best whey protein out there and has no artificial sweetners or anything artificial in it. None of that sucralose or aspartame toxic stuff. That mixed with rice milk and a smoothie is pretty delicious and a good source of protein. As i say its not from veg sources though.
@conceptual0theorist I do use whey protein and I agree that it is probably better than meat haha when I have the money I buy soy milk instead of reg milk i have never tried rice milk before but I will give it a try sometime when I got the extra cash flow.
@josh1492 ok thats great man. Just really i strongly advise you check the ingredients. If it has any aritficial sweetner in, like aspartame or sucralose or any of them. For those that have difficulty keeping up with the sub-titles. Concentrate solely on reading the titles from the black-box and not the titles above it. This makes it easy peasy and don't concentrate to much on actually watching the film, your subconcious will pick it up and in no time you will be watching and reading at the same time. Since the end of WW2, the global population has nearly doubled, thanks to industrial food production and cheap energy. With the population expected to increase over the next decade by another billion, the strain on the planet will grow. We will return to equilibrium, once famine, war, and disease have reduced the numbers of humanity sufficiently.
@bearmare It is counter intuitive that with MORE man power there is LESS food. Secondly war, famine and disease are symptoms of our society, which is why the planet in the movie does not have any! And Third this Earth is infinatly more powerful then you can imagine, It has the potential to fully clothes house and feed al lthe humans living on it and MANY MORE. It is human fault we are living in the state we are in, not the planets!

To live in harmonious balance with nature requires that the numbers of people are acceptable to that balance. What the number of a reduced human population is I cannot say, but it must happen.

@josh1492 there is an easy way to get protein from super greens. try Synergy Organic Super Greens, it has more protein in by percentage than most meats. just have a look around. elephants have massive muscles and break trees down, they never eat meat. ... you dont need to eat it. actually its bad for you. but your choice

@conceptual0theorist vegetarian animals have special bacteria that live in their stomachs that feed on vegetation and in turn provide the animal with protein .... I dont have that ability being a human haha. LG Sciences had a protein powder made from Yellow Pea Protein Isolates that was high quality, had high BCAA content, High levels of glutamine and had a good protein profile but was discontinued because demand was not high enough and they were not making any money.I will check on your sug tho

@josh1492 Hi josh, i do have another suggestion for protein. All though its derived from milk/whey so is not vegan but it is better than meat i would think. and that is Reflex Natural Whey. It is to my knowledge the best whey protein out there and has no artificial sweetners or anything artificial in it. None of that sucralose or aspartame toxic stuff. That mixed with rice milk and a smoothie is pretty delicious and a good source of protein. As i say its not from veg sources though.

@josh1492 ok thats great man. Just really i strongly advise you check the ingredients. If it has any aritficial sweetner in, like aspartame or sucralose or any of them. Discontinue use, as it causes severe health problems in the long term. The one i linked it is totally natural and will not harm your body! Take care bro :)

I watch the video and that made me to go back to the old days when I was a child in my village.The only problem I saw only white people, there shoud me some other colors also. The language also seems to be a European one. It should be an official language like English so that every one could understand.Any way it is an excellent movie.

For those that have difficulty keeping up with the sub-titles. Concentrate solely on reading the titles from the black-box and not the titles above it. This makes it easy peasy and don't concentrate to much on actually watching the film, your subconcious will pick it up and in no time you will be watching and reading at the same time. A kind of fictional film with a true hidden message, would be a real shame to miss out because it is a terrific film. Thanks to the person posted this!

@ogskeetdizzle Of course, what is ignored is that to live in this manner would require that the global population be reduced by half or more. Since the end of WW2, the global population has nearly doubled, thanks to industrial food production and cheap energy. With the population expected to increase over the next decade by another billion, the strain on the planet will grow. We will return to equilibrium, once famine, war, and disease have reduced the numbers of humanity sufficiently.

@bearmare It is counter intuitive that with MORE man power there is LESS food. Secondly war, famine and disease are symptoms of our society, which is why the planet in the movie does not have any! And Third this Earth is infinatly more powerful then you can imagine, It has the potential to fully clothes house and feed al lthe humans living on it and MANY MORE. It is human fault we are living in the state we are in, not the planets!

@OrderlyChris But what you ignore is that many of the problems you have described are caused by there being more people. More people mean more demands on finite resources. To live in harmonious balance with nature requires that the numbers of people are acceptable to that balance. What the number of a reduced human population is I cannot say, but it must happen.
