They filmed it in between real HBO PPV fights in the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. That's why the audience is so huge. They made this alternative ending so no one would go home knowing how it ends.

this is nice, is good to see the real champ winning but with the original ending he won anyway, the beast left, he proved that he was still competitive to go toe to toe with the "best", and it gives you the same feeling of the first Rocky, this fight was about much more than winning or loosing.

the only thing that breaks my heart is that Adrian wasnt there to hug him and tell him how much she loves him. :'( you are the best Rocky!!!!

Im a huge rocky fan but you gotta go with the original ending... rocky fights causes and this wasn't about winning the fight - it was about proving he could go the distance and be competitive, if your watch the real ending it gives a very nice impression that hes fought his fight and doesn't really care whether hes won or lost because did what he wanted to do.

NAH!!! When I saw it in the theatre I kinda wanted him to win but it couldnt happen..This would've been phoney! Stallone was getting his butt kicked left and right of the ring...no way he wouldve won..the real ending was correct.

i believe that the most proper ending for this movie,is the original one...cos it is more realistic too...i mean a guy in the age of 60 cant beat some1 with his half age...i m a real Rocky fan and i believe that Rocky doesnt teach us to win,but to try and go the distance!

The history of Rocky shouldn't end like what they use in the real ending.

It was a great movie, but I still prefer this ending.

i personaly feel this ending is more special than the one they used and i fully understand why they use the ending they did but this ending just screams at me never give up no matter what and you never know what can happen no matter your age or anything but why didnt they make it an acutal draw i feel thet would have been amazing but oh well still a great movie no matter the ending

This Should have been the real ENDING!!! And that's coming from a "TRUE ITALIAN STALLION ROCKY BALBOA FAN" I personally went to watch the movie in theater and everything was going great till the movie was ruined with another stupid end!!! This should have been the real end!!!
