@FreemanLambda Mr Holmes solves mysteries which can involve murder, theft and fraud. Both Poirot and Holmes are amazing in their own original ways as characters, what i'm saying is they both deserve merit.

@FreemanLambda But it would be nice if you recognised that Jeremy Brett put his very soul into the character which dramaticly affected his health, actors who have played Holmes have said that they become more less like themselves to a detrimental effect and would only play the part for short periods. I like both Holmes and Poirot both are indepth personas.

@KingOfChaos213 Jeremy Brett had bipolar disorder which affected his life drastically. Portraying Sherlock Holmes WAS his life, he smoked too much which led to his death. I love both Sherlock Holmes and Poirot, but I love Poirot more, maybe it's just because how stupid they make Americans look in Poirot, it is hilarious.

I was depressed once. But then I noticed there are much worse conditions to be in. So I went on living. But still some sleuthing would be nice.

Thanks a lot for this clip. Jeremy Brett was a great actor. even today if i ever read or think of detective i just think of him. His image in my mind will remain forever.
