And in the thrash scene they became popular but never got suported like anthrax or other bands.

And for me personally id rathe see anthrax in a small club because i could stage dive and stuff like that.

I think crossover is more related to the hardcore scene (at least DRI sound, since their first records are pure hardcore punk) than the thrash metal. The Thrashzone at all, with the Definition are slower and have more palm muted riffs, but the crossover at all, is way closer to the hardcore than the metal in it's roots
