Very clever mate ! I have found that a small piece of duct tape stuck along the rail in the mount reduces vibration as the tolerance from the actual mounts are different to the ones from the display case.
I like it. it's the simple things that are the most effective. it doesn't have to just be the case base plate. Can be any base plate. Just take off the adhesive (these may be more susceptible to breakage because the nut would stick out on these versions). Problem is if you want a bunch of them, GoPro doesn't sell them alone. Only in grab bag.
Im not going to use the sticky stuff... Can I just use on of them and not the Show case? :)
