This is truly Chuck's song and one of those that TDN will be remembered for, and as a standout to his voice and emotion. My very favorite and still relevant by any measure of standard today. Because it is "Easy" for humanity be "Heartless and Easy to be Cold." However it is easy to see examples of the opposite too. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all.

When I first heard this, I thought they said, "Do you only care about the neat and proud?". It was "about the bleeding crowd". It amazes me still to this day how lyrics can be misheard and misunderstood.

@14spokin Yes, it was DEFINITELY drug-related, unfortunately! With the exception of Cory and Floyd, ALL of them were wasted by this time! The sad thing is that Chuck's voice was---and still IS---so good, that they shouldn't have HAD to lip-sync; they could have sung this LIVE! BTW, you absolutely should read Chuck's book! He is brutally honest about everything that happened during that dark time in his life! Thank God he has been clean & sober for nearly 20 years now!
