  • you cannot keep these with oscars as oscars are tropical (no salt) and clowns are marine (salt) i have both of these in two seperate tanks

  • well actually clownfish can live up to 35 years if you have the right water conditions and they do have capitive bred clownfish that most stores do buy which there are more immune to dieases like ich

  • It's possible with aquariums such as a nano reef tank... I'm no expert, in fact I'm basing this off of amateur research; it's probably best you find the biggest tank you can afford.

  • um. a nano reef tank or small tnak size is much more influenced by changes, because of the lack of size mainly. so please, calm down. the biggest tank you can afford will result in a more consistent environment for the fish where changes have less an impact....  i didn't ever say small tanks were bad for clown fish.

  • Clown Fish - aka this paticular breed is a false percula which are also naturally hemaphrodites and can change sex when needed in a fish tank. if no other diff breeds of fish are around then the perculas will breed easy.
