Very good pointers, but the pictures are a bit off like the size of that rat and the terrariums you display the animals could invoke the idea that it is possible to keep them in such small quarters.
So to correct for that, the right size of feeding item would be an animal that is about as thick or just a little bit thicker then the thickest part of the snake and I would recommend a cage that is minimum 1x0.5x0.75 as big as the length of the snake. Still a thumbs up from me.
@JacoTheSkunk Go to a regular pet shop and you can get a ball python for around $65-$100. You can also ask them if you can get a baby ball python (if you see an adult ball python in their shop thats in your price range, say you want a baby of that breed) from them and have them contact their breeder because a lot of pet shops dont get snakes like boas and pythons until they are already large.
How to buy a ball python: Step 1: Pick out your ball python. Step two: Buy your ball python. Step 3: Take it home. Step 4: Put the ball python in its cage. Have fun!!!!!
@bobthecowrachg74 well that would be a problem here given live food is pain in the ass to get without breeding your own that and legalities surrounding it
Dud Ur awsome

Right size food ?...0.58 that rat looks far to big and with not enough space for the snake to constrict

Does anyone know of a very reliable hygrometer and thermometer that are accurate?
ThrashorGetThrashed1 1 month ago
@JacoTheSkunk Specific morphs, some are even more, but for a regular they're usually 75-100$

@kreeperrock i have a good connection from a friend tho... he has live all the way up to large rats so i think i can get a good supply.
bobthecowrachg74 1 month ago
@bobthecowrachg74 still best to get them off live food. Live food fights back so there is a risk to your snake
kreeperrock 1 month ago
@kreeperrock ya I am trying to get him off live
bobthecowrachg74 1 month ago
@kreeperrock live is sadder but its not as healthy for the snake but live can hurt the snake i still use live

Most petstore´s don´t even know what they are selling and feed frozen mouse and rats (they give it frozen....) That is what i see all the time...
And my first ballpython where infected with mites.. I saw it when i camed home. But she's fine now and 1,5m
Finding a good store that give good advice and knowing what there doing is hard.
