I used to have an ovation in wich the bridge was very low, unfortunately I sold it and by that time I never played with a slide, now I have another electric-acustic guitar in wich the bridge is much higher and I just started to learn with the slide, but I want to now if it make any difference if you play with a glass slide or a metal slide in a high bridge, any one Knows?
@javichuification a metal slide gives you a more tinny and (believe it or not lol) metallic tone, whereas glass is slightly warmer. you can also get brass which gives it twang. anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, i'm certainly no expert!
We are fortunate enough in this country (Australia) to have the one and only Kirk Lorange (no apostrophe) residing here. We are unfortunate enough not to have enough gigs to accomodate such an amazing player. Therefore he has to earn an income by teaching. If you had a secret formula for the best fried chicken in the world, would you give it away? I think not. Don't be a tight ass, buy the lessons. Rock on Kirk you are still the best ever.
I'll back that up!. I've played for years- Blue-Blues/Rock, some think I'm pretty good & I guess I good enough to keep a band busy for about 8-years, until I got tired of the bar-gigs. The slide work caused me to bite-buying both his Planetalk & slide tutorials. Money well spent! If you like what you hear, buy his stuff! No connection here-I don't know the man other than buying his product, but, despite my experience, I benefited from his work...broadened my scope! You can't loose! Straight-up!
I love the very helpful picture down in the corner, where you can see exactly how the right hand DOES NOT move. I think that helped many beginners to realize that a crippled arm is essential when you play the giiii-tah...
its about respecting one another, has nothing to do with "rights". It's ok if you dont like it. We dont need to hear about it though. Try it sometime, it actually will make you feel good about yourself. Now I am sure this will cause you to respond in some childish way and that is ok too.
@bush555 I find that using God's name in vain is hilarious, god damn it. But God, I do agree with you on B. God, you are so god damn right all the god damn time!
Most likely, if you are determined enough to learn it you could figure out the picking by the sound and what fret he is holding down when not using the slide

Do you know any other color grooves like orange or red? The Blue one sounds a lot like a Blues groove.

A. Why not? Just because you have your religious beliefs in god it don't give you the right to tell others how to use that word.
B. I agree
But yeah the guitaring is really good, I worked out how to play most of it already from the vid.
