@TheVisualMagic the shoes are mainly what u like if your just starting to skate i wouldnt worry to much about all the details like how fast they rip or flexibility i would try a couple of different brands like emerica,vans,fallen,lakai's and there are A LOT of different versions/shoes from the same company so try one or two from each if you can
