One of the words I use to describe Gene's work is "sophisticated". I use it because, as a child, his art did not appeal to me. It took years of "seasoning" and learning about comic book art to truly appreciate the man's work in the craft. He was and always will be THE best Dracula artist who ever lived. His sense of mood and movement, his fluidity of figure, all of it. Hats forever off to Gene.
I remeber when he drew wonder woman it was EPIC!! I love this man sence of style in his drawings, it a shame talent like that is lost. God bless this man.
Your Dad's work on Daredevil, Iron Man, Dr. Strange and Dracula forever changed the way I looked at comics and his beautiful work continues to haunt me, in the best way, even now.
