Wow this is amazing :) you really do sound like a celtic singer it's beautiful. i'm 16 myself and i am pretty good at singing if i do say so myself. your voice is my exact definition of a perfect soprano voice. we would sound good singing a duet together lol
Omg... absolutely PERFECT. Didn't want it to end! Both your singing, and the "acting", for lack of a better word, are flawless.
I never heard this song performed at opera quality before. My favorite version used to be {now becoming my second-favorite, after yours} the one by Tears for Beers. :=}
GREAT!!!! You have a beautiful a capella voice. I wouldn't call it folksy. Listen to Celtic Woman. You sound very much so like them. Almost ethereal! Where did you find this piece? It's gorgeous! Was it actually written down and in music?
Thank you so much for your awesome comments! I sang this when I was a lot younger also, the music came from my teacher. Practically transcribed as a melody line only. The descant was arranged by my teacher (varies the song a bit, 9 verses of the same tune can get tedious!!)

I'm singing this for grade 5 verses 1,2,6 and 7. I wouldn't fancy the whole 9 verses I have to say!
Well Done, can I ask what grade you were at this time?

Yes, I was about to sit Grade 8. But this wasn't one of the pieces, just one I had sung when I was younger and liked it :) Good luck with Grade 5!
