Cost? $3 trillion and counting, not to mention 4,300+ US soldiers dead. Doubled the US Debt in 8 yrs to $12 trillion. Gave POTUS $1.3 trillion deficit on day 1 in office. Destroyed the economy and financial markets! Do I have to mention Katrina, trashing our Constitutional Rights, spying on Americans, suspending Habeus and torture? Wow.

When a foreigner travels near or across the North Korean border (with the agenda of exposing the conditions with in that country) is taking their own lives, and freedom into their own hands. Bill Clinton should have delayed the negotiation process, to teach those two stupid American journalists a lesson. A little hard labour in a North Korean prison camp would have been a humbling experience for those crusading, blowhardish, fame seekers. I dont feel sorry for them at all.

I pray one day that Scott finds himself in a dire situation, so grave, and so in danger of losing his own life, that he BEGINS to understand. besides the health care issue that has plagued this country for months, i think the Obama administration handled this hostage situation very well. We didn't need bombs. We didn't need to use threats. We used diplomacy. Yes, we TALKED to a terrorist nation, BUT IT WORKED. This event is a big step forward to more peaceful relations with the world, and I'm just glad to see these two girls home safe and sound. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Exactly - they got busted being in a place they should not have been. The North Koreans could easily have had them imprisoned for life or terminated if they were the utter beasts that is claimed by the media. Lots of egg on lots of faces and little public gratitude to the DPRK - I only hope they won some future consessions and will not be so hard pressed in future.
