At the same time, I would think that after a bit of time on camera, you would need some sort of basic street makeup look to balance out the face. You know, even skin tone, natural color lip, light blush or bronzer, maybe a little eyeliner.

Granted, that's from a guy who did theater, and has worn makeup before. (Protip: if you are doing someone else's stage makeup and the color is too dark for them, DON'T USE CLOWN WHITE TO LIGHTEN IT UP.)
