It's a rock and roll thing and a lot of rock and roll things are illogical (i.e. throwing TVs out windows) Sometimes its a joke (see my other post on here) sometimes it makes the music sound better, and sometimes its on accident like on Money by Pink Floyd

Back then when they copied and pasted they literally copied and pasted, but at the beginning with the cash register sounds? If you listen closely you'll hear that the last one is backwards.
