Maby all the pint up sadness has a weak spot. Like Gohans anger, it has limits. Once you experience so much emotional pressure, the barriers holding it all back will snap. You may not know it, but many you where crying not just cuz of Gohan dyeing, Maby some of it was all the rest. You never know.

i know im going to sound like goku for saying this, but whether or not if 18 and 17 were having "fun" they were committing MURDER. and gohan couldnt stand for that. If they wouldnt commit murder, than gohan would not have tried to destroy them. but they were killing innocent people for something that dr gero did. i feel as thought gero deserved what he got cuz of what he did to them, but that doesn't justify MURDER.

Yes this scene is quite emotional in the movie. But once again, you can't really blame the androids for this. Gohan continued to try and "defeat them" when in reality he was just pissing them off more and more during every encounter. And once again, 17 and 18 are just young teens. What couple of teens wouldn't want to have fun just destroying everything in their paths, just testing their newly acquired powers after being transformed into androids......yeah, exactly. Lol.

Androids 17 and 18 kinda did the right thing in killing him off. He only kept getting in their way while they were just trying to have fun, even if destroying cities is "fun" in their minds. You have to remember that 17 and 18 were NOT technically androids, but rather human beings with cybernectic parts added to their bodies. They were kidnapped at young ages, early to late teens I assume, and turned into 'androids" so obviously they would some type of revenge on the rest of the world for that.

It's odd because in the original Dragon Ball Trunks never achieved Super Saiyan after Gohans death.

@EarthlyGoose In the original Dragon Ball manga, Trunks had already achieved going Super Saiyan (before Future Gohan dies), but still, he was not that strong enough to at least fight on par with one of the Artificial Humans, which they (A.H.) even mentioned that they have not even bothered to at least use 40/50 percent of their power when fighting Future Gohan in SSJ mode. TOEI just made a few changes from the manga to the TV-Special for more drama/emotional purposes.

He has a YouTube channel where he still makes more DBZ style music, like a new Super Saiyan 5 theme, & combining Vegeta & Darth Vader's themes.
