Some lovers are doomed from the start because there is no trust. Always fearing and suspicious. This is always hallmark of relationships with violence. Both parties are psychologically violent but only one party is usually also physically violent.

Good lyrics in this song. Wish more people would fully understand that trust is paramount to a successful relationship. There are just too many fools who don't get it - emotional dependence and love are two different things.

And, when it does, it often doesn't get his whole body and it is only for a split second. This was often seen in live videos, too. Doug, I think, was a bit shy and liked to be in the background.
