If you want to see some short film footage of J. Russel Robinson playing the piano, check out the Youtube clip "The March of Time: Birth of Swing"; Robinson is audible (and visible, and stops and says a few things) from 1:16 to 1:38. I think (but am not sure) that he's playing "Livery Stable Blues". If so, he plays it quite differently than the original ODJB recording. He is also seen and mentioned from 4:36 to 4:42. But watch the whole thing, it's fantastic!
