  • I love how she can still be so funny and not offend a certain group, race, gender etc. or cursing, I really respect that.

  • george carlin is the best, when it comes to philosophy intertwined together with comedy, ellen is just a great joke teller... she has perfect comedic timing

  • @thepack12341 She's not "just a great joke teller" she is an inspiration to thousands and thousands or gay women, not to mention the thousands and thousands of other non-gay woman, men, kids, people from all around the world, of differen ages/races/religions/orientations etc. She is one of the biggest stars ever; not for wrong reasons, but for all the right reasons, she stands up for hope and a better tomorrow. I've actually never head of George Carlin lol.

  • @thepack12341 i dont think its meant to be super deep just relatable comedy. George Carlin was a preacher.

This screen name is correct,Ellen Degeneres4life!!!

  • @mjshields1 i don't disagree with you...but when you want to get across the point that someone who you disagree with isn't particularly intelligent, using phrases like "most stupidest" doesn't really cut it.

and by that i mean you sound like a retarded thirteen year old

  • I love Ellen Degeneres! She deserves so much of my respect!

  • I love this woman haha

  • you're amazingly funny. i love you ellen :)

  • its so sad when someone as awesome as ellen, trying to bring a little light and laughter to the world, has all these hate filled comments on her youtube videos. how can people suck so hard? seriously. waste your hate filled time on people who are actually crappy mean awful types, not kind funny cool lovely hilarious awesome women. sigh

  • The one thing we all have in commen is that WE ALL LOVE ELLEN!

  • "We are all gay"

  • Go Ellen!!! We all know the beautiful fight she puts up!!! Thank you... you are our voice

  • secrets out, that is how we get you...

  • This is Hilarious =D

    Go Ellen (Y)

    i Love Her....

  • Ellen for nobel peace prize!

  • Ellen is so wonderful. Definitely one of the best people God put on this earth.

  • @loveblue89 you know, that kinda funny and ironic. god supposedly hates her for being a lesbian, she will go to hell and everybody who laughs at her (very funny) jokes will follow her there. i, i don't know if you could see it, buuut...i am an atheist, and i do believe that ellen is an amazing person, very kind, loving, funny and special...but your god didn't create her. your god hates her and you my friend, you are doomed. he hates you too...and he probably hates me

  • @Myiuth145, god hates a lot of things that most christians do/believe that they don´t even complain about nowadays. Like women being equal to men(Corinthians 14:34). Like people picking up sticks on the sabbath (Numbers 15:36). Ask any christian if these two things are wrong and they will tell you that they arent. And yet somehow they DO choose to follow the ones that condemn homosexuality. This is just bs.

  • @Myiuth145

God doesn't hate her. It is the dissillusioned who currupt religion and use religion the wrong way that hate her.

  • @EGMAG AMEN. <3

    I'm Christian.

And I LOVE this lady. She's hilarious. People make me so mad :P

  • @DarlingTinaSheep

    exactly

  • @DarlingTinaSheep And amen to yo.

I'm an atheist... but you get the pont.

    Cheers!

  • perfect example that gays and lesbians are followers.....o_O

  • How could you dislike this? 31 people have no sense of humour

  • Is that how they get us? :D

  • i think people disliked this just to be bitches

  • "why should I pay a stranger to listen to me talk when I can get strangers to pay to listen to me talk." :D

  • i must be honest i love kathy g and her bullshit style lol but i def laugh wayy harder with ellens jokes and they r clean

  • @imcrazy85 I defenitly agree with you. Kathy Griffins great but Ellen. . . I don't know. She just has a way of making it way funnier.

  • favorite comedians: Ellen Degeneres, Dane Cook, Sinbad, Jeff Dunham, Liz Feldman. :)

  • She reminds me of Dane Cook. They speak about stuff that we THINK about, but never really talk about!!!!

  • @april2026 IKR!!!!

  • @april2026 but without all the cussing lol...which proves you can be funny without profanity

  • @laptopcomputermaster yeah, just as perverted tho.......

  • @april2026 only difference is she's actually funny

  • I love her!!!!!! :D

  • i love how she takes her time on stage :)

  • WOW... everyone had to say something about about her being gay.

  • ellen IS our leader, & she's a great one haha. lesbian and proud<3

  • @calliopelynx Ditto what she said. :D <-----

  • What happened to our learer!? :'''''D lolololollo

  • laugh* "but seriously though, your probly gay"

  • ellen is the shit, if i could watch her all day i would. and i am.. :S yea that's right i don't have a life and i have way too much time on my hands.

  • @rasharkein1 well anyone who has the time to tell you that you have too much time on your hands must have way too much time on theirs too, right?

  • @rasharkein1 lol hell yea tellin the haters to fuck off before they even have a chance lol

  • @rasharkein1 You.... PROCRASTINATE!!! <3 <3 Woohoo!! Lol. I love Ellen so much.

  • @rasharkein1 ugh join the club lol!

  • @rasharkein1 lol...i'm like that with Ellen + Michael Jackson :)

  • i love gay and lesbians

  • @nazerdawud23 me too!!!!

  • Honestly, I'm straight...and really don't give too much of a fuck about sex--which is a pretty redundant statement when you think about it, really--but she is FUNNY...

    And, yes...very gay.

But really, who gives a fuck? (And just remember--if you give a fuck about a gay person...you're probably gay!) ;)

  • @obiwanobiwan13 I think if you you give a fuck to a gay person you're probably gay too :-P

  • Is Degenereres really Ellen's real last name? I always thought her name was a play on words Like Ellen The Generious and I use to think wow It's so great she must be a great Humanitarian LMAO

  • funny how people post comments as if they were really talking to her... this isnt her channel btw....

  • "She's not our leader, what happened to our leader?!"

    Best line ever.

  • im gay and u ellen are my idol XD hehehe 30 peopel missed Like it <.<

  • yaaay im Gay :D

  • 30 people are umm... stupid...? yeah, i'll go with that

  • I'm extremely gay. <3

  • I notice a LOT has been made of this gay thing, and this section is the only time it's mentioned. There's a lot of common ground in these clips that has got nothing to do with gay or not, and it's priceless. Especially if you've done or experienced what she describes... :)

As for the religion thing, talk about giving Christians a bad name!! From what I can tell, adultery is mentioned more than homosexuality. just look!

  • @hippiegirl1968 if they were really worried about the santity of marrage they would outlaw divorce

  • @ShutterbugF well, I often think it's just an excuse for their bigotry. Sometimes though, divorce may be the only way out. Particularly if it's abusive, however difficult that may be. I appreciate.

  • @hippiegirl1968 missing text - how difficult it must be to leave an an abusive partner.

  • @hippiegirl1968 yes but abuse would fall under illegal, being sick of eachother or wanting to screw other people are some big factors in divorce.

  • @ShutterbugF true, I think what I was getting at was that gay/straight is irrelevant. :)

  • hey owen wilson!!!

  • I am not gay but I still like her - can I still watch the show? ;-)

  • was that before she got her own late night show?

  • @hackebeil20 after i think

  • 29 people have NO sense of humor, because that was funny.

  • I catered for her the night before this show, while she performed at the State Theatre in New Brunswick NJ, she actually was hit in the face by a fan, with a doll! Very strange, yet she was kind, sweet, forgiving, and of course funny. Karla

    A Current A'Fare fine catering

  • "she's not our leader! what happened to our leader!!?!?!"

  • @PaulaAbdulRoxxxx6 THat's hilarious beyond words~x

  • @PaulaAbdulRoxxxx6 lol epicness

  • "do we look gay!?!??!?!" bahaha

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR LEADER?!

  • she looks so young

  • awww man. it looks like crap =/

  • hmm so bored any folks want to rescue me

  • @CarmellaWelkes8 yeah dude, im on my way

  • love you

  • I <3 Ellen!

  • "Is that how they get us?"

  • i've watched this over and over again, so by now i've learnt it by heart... :D ellen <3

  • Why do people have to bring the gay BS into every other sentence about Ellen??? She's always been talented, and a hilarious comedian, WELL before anyone knew she was gay, Jesus people.

  • @CryHavocDogsOfWar exactly, Let's just hope one day, hopefully soon, it won't matter, and there will be no need to mention it. It will just be a fact like having blue or green or brown or hazel eyes

  • im not gay but i would go to one of her stand ups!!!

  • @rach0babe you make it sound like only gay people are allowed at her stand ups. or that only gay people enjoy them.

  • @lavane26 thats ridiculous because im striaght and i love them

  • @rach0babe yet you still find it necessary to make the distinction that you are straight. WHO CARES BITCH.

  • @mooflac alright.. someone has an attitude problem. no need to freak out about tiny things that dont even make sense

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for posting. I wish more people in the world were like Ellen. It would be a nicer place.

  • She's really great,I admire her so much.

  • smokers teeth. LOL

  • Omg this is like the 30th time i watched this show literally.

I have it on dvd so 30 +30=60 times

  • She's my all time leader!

  • Ellen is my leader

  • Interesting argument below there. However I don't really feel the aggression between you two, I'll throw in my two cents and say this

Gay pride is simply an offset of the repression they have faced. Whether they get married or adopt doesn't matter, its the moral respect they should earn from it that matters. I don't see why they should be modest until the time comes when gays are looked to as simply another image of normal.

  • @thephoenix4ever very wise statement

  • @thephoenix4ever But one of the problems with gay pride is that it makes a lot of people think that, thats how every gay person is. Many gay guys are down to earth and acts like everybody else, but gay pride gives the impression that gay persons are guys dressing in womans clothing and acting queer.

It's like saying every girl likes twilligth, beacurse the series have most female fans.

  • @BlackChinca

I see what you're saying, but gay pride really isn't about trying to stand out and act/look like the opposite gender. Its just about being proud of being yourself and promoting the acceptance of homosexuality in today's society. Really, I don't see Ellen dressing up in overly-guyish clothes, and thats most of her show. Plus thats a stereotype, which again may be further overcome by more acceptance. Just my thoughts...

  • Love Ellen! So funny, such a great personality. I like all kinds of stand up, but she's one of those comedians that doesn't have to swear to make her material funny.

  • my opnion of ellen is that she purpoesely kept herself secret

and did it on her own

    made it big

    for her audience

and stands and says that she is a performer star for the audience

even if you created made it all she is in it that is what she does

    it comes naturally to her

she is just a girl female performer with a a female mixed up audience

who weren't being serviced by the male performers

    a matter of niching

  • Is there ANY dimension to Ellen's personality besides lesbianism? If she could accept she was a lesbian, she wouldn't be constantly talking about it, would she?

  • @suddenlyitsobvious I find that rather amusing considering this is pretty much the only time she mentions it during the whole show. She is one of the few female stand up comedian's I like and because of her brilliant observational humour. I think that is an unfair statement to make, especially if you haven't watched the other parts of the show.

  • @deadite87

Well fortunately I don't have a television, so I don't really know her at that well, but whenever I see her on youtube, it's ALWAYS hatecrime, gay rights, marriage, adoption, to the point the only thing that can come to my mind when seeing her is never IF, but always WHEN will she bring up this tragic preoccupation again and I can assure you I never have to wait long...

  • @suddenlyitsobvious She actually covers much wide range. She is involved in the subjects you mentioned but that's not all, though she's one of the most active celebs on gay rights and issues, either on-stage or off-stage. It's not so strange, since it's one of the things most relevant to herself.

Well, if she couldn't accept that she's a lesbian, she wouldn't be living with her wife for quite a while.

  • @davidmjeong926

To be honest, what REALLY bothers me, is this mediatized effort to constantly assault the public's mind with buzz-concepts like "the GLORIOUS fight for gay rights", marriage, adoption etc.

It is obvious that what we're really seeing here is SOCIAL ENGINEERING. Just think about this adoption thing: kids shipped all over the world like coffebeans because people (straights & now gays) WANT a kid? Not desire, nooo: WANT, like something you purchase in a pet store. RIGHTS?...

  • @suddenlyitsobvious I live in the country that ranks 5th in the world for "exporting" children and social facilities cannot handle the overflowing capacity, which isn't usually the best place for the abandoned kids. It would be problematic if the adopted child faces an unpleasant, horrible situation in the new home, but I do not see any reason to interfere with it as long as it appears very likely that the child will be better off with a new family. No certainty, but at least better chance.

  • @davidmjeong926

What this is really about is changing society on the basis of ONE dimension: equal rights. The consequence is that the legal system gets to increase its monstrous control over all issues.

Homosexuality merely used to be a behaviour countless men of history have engaged in without it having too much of an incidence on their sense of masculinity or identity.

What we're seeing today, is the creation of a CULTURALLY based, authoritatively controlled model: the GAY couple.
