Would you have fought if you hafd known you were fighting to turn Eastern Europe over to a man that had murdered over 15 million White Christians in the Ukraine alone?
Were you fighting for a multicultural America where your people would be in the minority and on the verge of extinction due to genocide by assimilation?
This was fantastic. Europe is in big trouble again these days but the whole world would be a very bad place indeed without all the men that fought the Axis. Thank you.
I do not see any of you posting videos of WWII veterans on here. Did you ever think about Tom's time constraints? He's busy. 17 minutes of this is better than nothing. Thanks though Tom...
@weaponseducation Ive spoken with several Nesei Veterans from the 100th battalion. (Japanese-American soldiers who fought in Europe) and I listened to them for hours at a convention. It was wonderful and I was privileged enough to meet all of them. Amazing experience.
I personally agree with some other well said comments in here that the video should have been longer, also he probably should have been not interrupted in his comments while the interview was being taped it seemed he was rushed only 17 min not long enough. I would like to know the value of that sidearm very interseting also if he had fired it, I know Germans make things well.
@NiceNineMillimeter You are exactly right. With a man like this you don't make a short youtube video. You make a documentary. Turn the camera on, ask questions and be quiet.
Pretty cool. I wish we had more time to hear more stories.... But I am glad for what we got. You should have taken him for a ride in your viper Tom lol
@weaponseducation WW2 and America is a true example of good vs evil. I wonder if german people respect their parents and grandparents who were nazis. I hope they dont! but they are still their parents so i have no idea.
@SonsOfLiberty65 Interesting point raised. I believe not all the German soldiers wanted to kill or torture the allied forces or the innocent Jewish people. I believe the SS etc.. are a true example of evil, just like you said.
That would be a hard one to consider though hey! Given the state of Germany's economy at the time of WW2, their armed forces was an attractive job for many! I believe some German soldiers would not have wanted to kill anyone at all, just following orders!
@SonsOfLiberty65 I'm not trying to support the Nazi's or justify the German army's actions, merely just agreeing with you about how controversial and hard that topic is. I believe their would have been some good in many of the German soldiers, but they were just following orders. Much like the allied forces!
@weaponseducation Maybe an explanation about why @NiceNineMillimeter does not understand would be better than just saying they don't? Great video, but I think this response could have had a bit more meat.
I can really relate to this video my Great Grandfather was part of the Army Rangers and stormed the beach. I wish I know what beach but if and when you see Sgt. Baren tell him thank you.
He reminds me alot of my Grandfather, Mine was in Korea, he served a half mile from the DMZ. The story i remember most was when he was sent on patrol to move up to the DMZ and then back. He had his m1 garand, that was beat up, tapped up stock, bent barrel, but still worked, and he found himself in a firefight, after all of it was over, he took his rifle by the barrel, and swung it against a rock and broke it. They then issued him a BAR saying " go ahead, try and break this one". Love that story
Thanks for this vid Tom. My uncle just passed this last year. He was a Vet of WW2, Korea, and did 2 tours in Nam before retiring. As a Vet myself, I always felt close to him because of our service. I really enjoy hearing the stories weather they are painful or happy because of the American history and the heroism that goes along with them.
Just how you saluted the radio when you were young I salute you sir THANK YOU for risking your life so my family and I could be free! You are a true hero! Great vid Tom more like this would be great!
This is very inspiring!!! These men were truly the best generation of our time. They just don't make em like that anymore!! It's because of guys like this why we don't speak German today and for that i salute you!!! God bless you Tom and God bless all the vets out there!!!!

All the government wanted was to give him a gun and send him off to guadalcanal. He knew german Russian, Chyech etc. He lived a long life and I am proud of him and all the other vets
GREAT video Tom. I am a WW2 buff and the when you really study the events of WW2 you can appreciate the type of men that fought in that war. They truly are the greatest generation in my opinion. It was brutal in many ways.
Great video Tom these men were truely our greatest generation we still need to thank them for all they did for our country and apologize for screwing it all up...
nothing but respect for the men and women that fought for the freedoms we have today i get teary eyed when it comes to this dont know why just do and today we take these freedoms for granted remeber we almost lost these freedoms people forget that god bless him for his service
Tom, great video. If this hero spent 18 months in Europe, I bet he has a lot of great story's that will be lost if you don't make a regular interview series. Please Top these are stories that our young people can't afford to lose out on. Make him a regular where can just talk and tell his stories from start to finish.
All the vets are heroes it is just that WW2 was a war that without a doubt had to be fought otherwise Gernans and the Japanese would have enslaved the world. Intersting facts about the war is that Einstein fled Germany because he was a Jew and he was instrumental in developing the Atomic bomb which was used against the Japanese. I have never agreed however with the decision to bomb Japan the 2nd time in Nagazaki as I believe they would have surrender after the first bombing of Hiroshima. .
Cool video Tom, My father inlaw who has passed away about 3 yrs ago served in WWII. He was part of 101st airborne, I'll send you the article about him.
Excellent video and video idea. Especially with November 11 coming up next Friday. We owe those guys everything! God bless them and the sacrifices they made.
Please please go back to this man and do a video where he can tell his story in full. This was a good effort but he deserves so much more. He was so rushed it was almost like looking at an old tiger in a zoo rather than a war hero. He needs to be able to have a normal conversation instead of an "interview" IMO. I would watch a 50 min video of his guy any day of the week. 17min is just too short. You spend that on a blade review. no hate just saying....
Pretty ironic, when you made you're Halloween family video, Nutnfancy got jealous and made a cheesy "look at me" reply video showing his old family and dog.... (even changed his background to show his internet friend and dad) I had a LAUGH, it's like a fight of the gun channels. The timing was a dead giveaway.
Tom, great interview with the Sarge ! THANKS. I have an unrelated question tho. That rifle you have on display...an M1A1 ( the one I used in Nam - often); tell me about the stock you have it mounted on !!!!! Looks like something I could use on my Springfield! Thanks in advance bro, keep up the great work !
WOW!!!! What a great video. Tom? Thank you so much for letting us see this true american hero. My gradfather was at Normady on June 6th that year and to hear Sgt. Baron's story brings me back to listening to his stories. Yes! He was lucky and survived. I never heard about the gory stuff but when he talked about boot camp and the experience was awesome. It's as if my grampa Ron was talking on that video. I thank Sgt Baron and his family for his service and sacrifice. GOD BLESS the USA!

I do not get it what have we really achieve from the countless amount of deaths we have from these wars? Most of the time we are invading like chicken 's with our heads cut off...
Tom, that was awesome,I had a tear in my eye. I lost my cousin in Viet Nam during the TET Offensive Feb 5,1968..His very first day in battle he was a Sgt Squad leader and he and 21 other brave soldiers were machine gun down.
I am very proud of him. I always take the time to say thank you when I see a military person in uniform or a veteran wearing a WWII hat.
These are the people that made and make it possible for you and I to live in the greatest country in the world.
My grandpa was a troop carrier pilot of C-47'sand had 123 crossings over the English Channel from the very start of our involvement in WWII. He served for another 32 years and then retired as a LT. Col. Thank you to everyone who served and who are currently serving our wonderful country.
These are the type of men I recall at church on sunday as a little boy. Only now do I even come close to understanding why our country is so incredible. I'm only 30 years old , but I'm pretty damn sure they don't make em like this anymore. Kids today could stand to learn a lot about what a man truly is, from men like that one before they cannot. Great video Tom , I'm a pretty new subscriber, but stuff like this will bring me back for a long time.
It is outstanding this veteran was awarded the "Légion d'Honneur" medal from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. It is the highest honor a person or soldier can receive in France. This is similar to your US medal of honor and merit.
@weaponseducation I'm only 14 as of now but when I turn 18 I want to join the USMC. I want the military occupation specialty 0331 (machine gunner) so I'll be on the M240 and on the other large caliber weapons.
I have a box filled with Nazi flags, medals, and other various things my grandfather got from German soldiers in WWII. I also have 2 German Luger P08's my grandfather got from two Nazi's he captured and my grandfathers Colt M1911 pistol. I had replicas made of my grandfathers dog tags from WWII and the Korean war that I wear everyday. Proud to be American and thankful to our military!
Tom, that's the best video and interview you've made on your channel. I have really enjoy watching it. You are right, all veterans should be respected, whatever they are from the US or other nations. All the ones that almost gave their lives for us to celebrate freedom and democracy should be saluted. It is also great to hear stories from veterans if they don't mind talking about them.
This is great Tom! I kind of thought you would come out with a great video honoring the Veterans with Veterans day just around the corner, but I wasn't expecting an actual Veteran! It must have been an honor to interview such a respectable man. God bless America, and God bless all the men that have served for such a great country!
BTW, Not related to this video but thought I would mention I got my weaponseducation shirt in the mail yesterday. Great shirt and top quality, the colors are awesome.
Really nice interview Tom. Good to hear the Sergeant tell his story. I am prior military and was a Sergeant in the Army. Great video right in time for Veterans Day. Good stuff .
There is a very strong tradition of the men in my family serving in the military. I plan to join the marines when I turn 18, and this man is an inspiration, along with the men in my family before me.
I salute him, I am a veteran and respect very deeply those who have served. The stories they can tell are amazing. My dad and granddad served in WWII. I will never forget the look in there face as they remember different events and friends that didn't come home. Cool video
great vid tom!. makes me miss my dad. i keep a vid of my dad shooting the ruger vaquero i used to have on top of my page :). i'll send it as a vid response. peace out bro.
Tom, this video is absolutely fantastic. This is such a rare and wonderful experience to talk to someone who served and fought in the defence of democracy and freedom.
An old gentlemen who lives down the road from me fought in the second World War, Mr Fisher is 94 years old and as fit as a teenager. Mr Fisher went on to become our first Federal court judge, and a supreme court judge whilst winning the order of Australia Medal. It goes to show the character of such brave and honourable men!
I have so much respect for vets. Watching this interview makes me really wish I could have had longer to get to know my grandfather who served on a merchant marine ship. He had a heart attack when I was a year old. Great video
Of course but unfortuantely many Americans do not care. It makes me sick. Just like people in California hanging the American flag upside down. Disgusting.
Salute to all the vets and soldiers of this great U.S.A and may luck be with you and we support you tenfold.

"All the heroes are the ones that did not come back."
Wow, this is such a modest but yet powerful statement. Very impressive.

@NeptuneBlueZ That was the greatest line in the video "I agree" very modest man...

Good video but you rushed the poor guy. Learn to let others have a chance to talk.

BTW, it is a beautiful Mauser pistol!!!

This is great Tom! I kind of thought you would come out with a great video honoring the Veterans with Veterans day just around the corner, but I wasn't expecting an actual Veteran! It must have been an honor to interview such a respectable man. God bless America, and God bless all the men that have served for such a great country!

I also think it's a bit of a sign that both this veteran and I are both Clevelanders.

Cool video

Disgusting.
