BUT the Incredible Miss Pet Clark is 69 here and her voice sounds as Sweet and wonderful as ever. Age happens but her spirit shines through her face and voice. I never saw this and thank you because Petula Clark IS Music and for the joy she has brought me I am grateful and honour her.

She looks like an old sow with idiotically unkempt hair -- which someone told her was trendy -- and a failing reedy voice to boot.

She was wonderful in her prime.

Perhaps if she had stayed in the USA, and not have been sidetracked by her idiot French managers, she wouldn't have had to reduce herself to going around like a British fishwife in her waning years just to make a buck.
