im sorry but there isnt supposed to be anything in the middle of the entrance courtyard. That object is found in the Transfiguration courtyard

@hplegos It was redesigned in POA and then shortened in HBP. It doesn't have a name. A lot of fans call it the middle tower, though.

You should have played The Chamber of Secrets on PS2, it gave the player the freedom to explore the whole of Hogwarts, inside and out. If only there was a way to obtain those beautiful models and textures... :(

the only problem i have with it the object in the courtyard (0.08-0.12) should be in the transfiguration courtyard and not the courtyard outside the great hall

@Chocola95sweetheart If you're asking if it's the Oxford courtyard used in the "Goblet of Fire" film, then no. That courtyard is a movie set. The statue seen at 0:10 is the statue that was put in the Oxford courtyard, though. The video just has it in the wrong place.

This is amazing work! Have you posted this online anywhere for people to look at or download? I would love to convert the model to a format people could actually fly around and thru. I typically use 3DS Max for modeling.

Well I'm not completely sure yet what I'm going to do. I will for sure put it online in some format that people can fly through it in 3D... although I don't exactly know how yet. It'll happen though. :)

Yea its still going on. In fact I am done with the entire model of the castle! I'm working on getting a flythrough of the whole thing, but it is proving to be difficult (on my computer especially haha). The thing is pretty massive, and I am in need of more RAM in my PC to actually render it out. But it will be here eventually :)

@florisboris1 Hey man... I use 3ds Max as my modeling program. Google will be your best friend here, but if you're stuff for finding good 3D sites take a look at CgSociety... However you might want to start with a free program like blender- again google will help you out here. =)

It's great!!! But maybe you would like to move that armillary sphere. Its correct place is the Transfiguration Courtyard, not the Entrance Courtyard.
