@Akiko4Eiluned She is using Layes. If you place the coloring layer under the inked layer you can draw just over the lines ;)

I mean it's not about how much time it'l take,hec,if u did it in the amount of time u say u did,than i wont have a problem with the timing,i had much wors time situacions,but how much time il spend on practice!im an artist(not a real 1!)i drew almost every day since my 6. age,but that was on paper...

...and no matter how good i got on paper,this is nothing like that.a good hand with the mouse is something that will requier much more time and practice...

GIMP is a drawing programm, I call it the "free Photoshop" because it's free and nearly as good as Photoshop :) You can find it easily on Google if you want to download it.

and how did you use the smudge brush and not smudge the black and what tool did you use to shade

On a new layer go over the lines with a thicker brush click on the layer with the small lines on and press delete on the number pad on ther right of your keyboard. It deletes the little lines but not the layer, then colour on the layer you did the little lines on and if you colour over the black lines they should not get covered over
