I am not kidding, this made me shiver. Almost near the experience where I am sitting on the football stadium bleachers watching the marching band perform this.
Great music! It sounds epic, Hans Zimmer style. Would you allow me to use your music on YouTube Video projects? We plan to invent an internetTV project at school and it would be nice to get some great music tracks for these clips.
Oh my god... This is so fucking amazing, dude. I can't create something at least good in garageband and you compose masterpiece like this... You are like another Beethoven!
Listen; you need to make an album and sell it. This and your other garageband orchestral pieces are not just a little good, they are insane. You have got some serious skills right there
Where do you get your inspiration? I am 25 and can't even come close to this. This is absolutely amazing! Future Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer, future award-winning film composer! This is grade a stuff!!
@9frankg No, this is his busy schedule. Composing could be his future professional life, meaning he'll devote much of his time to making music. Someone could say you have a lot of time on your hands because of what you like to do often, but you wouldn't see it that way about yourself.
@coolperson58946 nice so am i. these compositions make me want to start reusing my garageband. haha. but i never could get jam packs for it though. so thats why i went on to other, costly programs. /:
I've listened to this and some of your other stuff. Excellent. You really need to buy yourself logic studio Pro though. The strings on garage band are passable (somewhat tinny and obviously sampled), but logic's samples are professional, superb and the libraries are extensive. You can import all your old GB stuff to Logic as well. The difference will be astounding.
Your work reminds me slightly of some of Howard Shore's stuff. Seriously. And if you don't know who that is, he's the composer for all the Lord of the Rings music, which is also genius.
the intro, omg, lol i felt on the way to like a lion king heaven, amazing, seriously guys, listen to intro its AWSOME!!!! lol u should get publisher i heard other somgs, u could be a big hit!
This sounds great. I actually hear a lot of Hans Zimmer in your writing especially in the heavily orchestrated parts. Very Nice, and keep up the writing!
depends.. i worte "Original symp garage comp. 2" in one week... bout 2 hours each day... but, this song took significantly longer... i started writing it back in april, and i finished it yesterday. i kept getting stuck for weeks. i would write like 10 measures then throw it out.. I couldn't decide on anything. but finally i got a few measures together that sounded acceptable..
only thing missing are the snares

were those choir voices I heard at 1:20?
TheMRM262 8 months ago
@TheMRM262 I think so. If you get all of the Boldt packs there is a choir. Make sure to donate to him though because he is awesome..
Kierpm96 8 months ago
i noticed that some track volumes were raised in the middle of the song. how do you do that?
Gotfish 11 months ago
Are the tuned drums part of a "jam pack"? The only way I can get my drums tuned is to have a bass track lined up with the drums.

Love the marimbas, I've always been a fan of that instrument :)
Similar style to your last ones, and I agree you've got a TINY bit of Zimmer to your style, but enough to keep yours from being a unique style.
