Comparto desde Mèxico, D.F. que es un estupendo video y tambièn felicito su entusiasmo y gusto por los Jeeps MB y GPW, ya que considero es el origen y el original a pesar de que tengo un CJ7 no es lo mismo. En Mèxico son extremadamente raros los jeeps del 42 al 45 y he visto solo 4 en vivo. Saludos.

@Speegs23 My German is not much better but I am pretty sure it does not say who the people are. Since the vehicles have European plates I would assume they are Germans. What I find interesting is that the film calls US soldiers liberators from the darkest chapter of their history. I am not sure if all Germans feel that way, but it is interesting to know that at least one does. I have often wondered what the average German of today thinks of WWII.

@donprasse Actually I checked again and in the credits it lists the participants (The word Teilnehmers was very hard for me to make out) and they all have very German names complete with umlauts so they must be Germans.

@donprasse there is a generational divide in Germany about the war, those that lived through it or were direct descendants of it's participants have a more recent view of it's conclusion, the youth who know nothing of it directly or it's fallout are understandably tired of hearing about it.

Just like the youth in Vietnam have no tie to the French or American conflicts and don't reflect or opine upon that.
