i went july 2011 too and u can see this much more clearly while riding it, but the tracks clearly head into that area, below the surface of rhe water...BUT GREAT RIDE THO!:) front row seats are a must! i FLIPPED OUT when the thing dropped!!

It looks like a cool ride. It would have been MUCH more fun if they had the ride with the original unmanned Jurassic Park Ford Explorers with a simulation of a T Rex breakout at the end.

I never rode this but I watched other on there. I tell yah, that is the most dramatic splash I've ever seen on a ride. I photographed it and the back splash had to have reached 30 ft in the air. It was always to amusing to watch!

@IFUNCinema Have you even been on the Hollywood one? They're nearly identical, but the Jeep drop is much better than the Raptor Cage. The T-Rex is hidden behind a waterfall as well instead of being out in the open.

I love how the Big 5 of the original Jurassic Park novel can be found right at Universal Studios Orlando. The Raptors and T-rex are terrifying but it's awesome that they included the Dilophosaurus and the Compys too. And of course Pteranodon is there in the park as a ride.
