ive made my decision zi6 is cheaper and it sounds like it has a more power full mic. i wonder how much a tripod is or if i can even use one.

every year new models come out, they brag about new features, yet not that much has changed, infact,. software sometimes get downgraded.

same goes for digital camcorders, IMHO they have camcorders at different resolutions and shit for reasons, because! not everyone needs a highpowered 720p camcorder, if you are doing sporting or racing, just spend the extra for a GoPro.

they need to do a flipping recall on the iPhones and the apple stores will fix them for free, i don't own one, but, why pay an extra 50 bucks for an issue that YOU the consumer had no fault in,

the phone was rushed to market before field testing, because of the increasing demand, and the stolen concept model that gizmodo got ahold of didn't help with the DOA (date of arrival)

I'm not sure, but I think he got his cameras confused? isn't the newer model (Zi8)suppose to be better than the older model(Zi6)? To me it looks like the Zi6 is superior in the visual and audio. And why is the camera super shaky on the Zi8, does it not have the EIS.. stabalizing system thing?

Anyone know the technical terms for things like the Wobble effect, tearing effect, static, etc? I think makers do this to get you to buy there more expensive cams. Crazy to spend $400 more to remove the wobble and tearing, ugh. Color can at least be corrected with software.

Ya, that wobbling is main reason I haven't gotten ANY camera as of yet, though I will eventually, but dang!

ich habe mir unter anderem auch wegen dem Vergleich hier, eine zi6 gekauft und möchte die Aufnahmen etwas bearbeiten. Die Probleme bei mir fangen schon beim Import von der SDHC Karte an. Mein Kartenleser ist schon etwas älter...Und in Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 kann ich die .mov Dateien nicht importieren...So musste ich über USB importieren, aber wird das über USB-Import dann nicht schon komprimiert also in 640x480 oder bleibt es bei 720p?

Also mit Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 kann ich wohl keine .mov Dateien importieren, obwohl es nach dem Datenblatt des Programms gehen müsste. Mir wird immer irgendein Medienfehler angezeigt...Ich weiss nicht was ich jetzt noch machen soll. Mit dem Medienkonverter von Arcsoft bekomme ich die Dateien auch nicht so hin, dass ich sie in Adobe Premiere Elements importieren kann. Ich rufe mal ganz laut um HILFE!!! :-)
