The media is a place for writers, word smiths, story tellers and arse lickers. The mix up between press releases, propaganda and accurate reporting is generally known by people working in the news industry as a safety net for keeping their jobs. Any journalist who attempts to challenge Government Press Releases aka disinformation by editing areas they know to be suspect, invariably are vilified or sacked (Miller, Gilligan, Pilger, Eastham) The Media is the way to condition minds using repetition

Any normal person will balk at Schaap's observation ; once your own various pet-conspiracies are worked in the discussion, even critical-thinking viewers will be put off and only the usual folks will be left to discuss Jewry and microchips.

When I worked in stocks, during the late 90s and early 00s, there was another study that said that corporate america rewarded and cultivated sociopathic behaviors. Lack of remorse, charisma, and the quick results over long term damage as promotion would remove them from the consequences of their behavior. It seems the same would apply to all similar industries such as politics.
