This is very interesting, they seem to be trying to copy the Byrds' sound, which is ironic since the Byrds were inspired by the Beatles. Still the released version is far superior

I usually sit corrected, but of course I'm lazy. Haha! You know, it just occurred to me that Beacoro might have mixed this "left minus right." That is, opening the stereo sound file in some sound editing program, selecting one of the 2 channels and reversing its polarity, then mixing the 2 tracks into mono. That would cancel out anything that had been mixed in the center, which in THIS case would be the laughing overdubs. TAKE THAT BEACORO! YOUR SECRET IS OUT!

It is the REGULAR laughter version, and a

quite basic "Vocal Cut" has been applied.

Try it by yourself if you dont believe me :

Use Cool Edit Pro or such, use "Vocal Cut" effect, and the job is done !

This is the reason why the version gets mono...
