No offense but the game was less than impressive. I'm glad I didn't buy it when it came out. I hope that the sequel, if it comes out, will actually have better level design and variety. Run around in the dark dungeons where all the rooms look the same some more.

@Cycieties The game should be have been done on the old engine. It would have been ludicrously advanced back then. even more so than Half life. But yeah it seems underwhelming after all these years.

allright I can see that's a pretty nice pc:) I think we indeed 'have similar pc's..although I dont understand everything you wrote abou t your specs...(lol do I sound like a noob now xD) but what I know about MY specs is that I have a Quad core 3.0 Ghz. processor, an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 780 MB and 8 GB of working memory (I do know more about it but those are unimportant facts like hard drive and monitor width)

you're quite right about all of that..I do run Vista 64 bit and yes..8 GB is the most there is to get they said...and I also bought it from a boutique manufacturer..so you're right.. first I wanted to build one myself but there wouldn't be the big screen that I have now with it and it wasn't even cheaper..and I'd have to put it together myself..now it was all ready to roll..btw I'm thinking of buying a Geforce 8800 Ultra and putting it together with my current 8800 GTX for more power...

ha! guessed it correctly alright.

o.O big screens can be purchased from dell, apple, samsung etc.

and if you put an 8800 ultra with your 8800GTX, the 8800 ultra will be downclocked to 8800GTX levels. besides, an 8800 ultra is a total waste of money at this point of time. couple more months for the 9800GTX or something similar to appear so keep it till then, then put a 9800GTX (which will probably be better than 2 x 8800GTX) in and toss out your 8800GTX :D

the 8800GTX would do well currently I suppose... It has been dominating for more than a year now. As such, games are unlikely to try to screw it before a more advanced part like the 9800GTX goes into retail.

yea you should check it out lol its awesome its supposed to be a genre in itself (not like we haven't heard THAT before) but by far bioshock has come the closest to making a new genre (nerd fact ahoy-)- they used an ENTIRE development team on the water alone, the water in the game looks real! :D but yea you can look up a demo or cut scene on it with tube-you and you should find something. god im bored i typed this much..or maybe im just obsessed with Bshock...yea thats probably it.
