this video was awesome thank you very much for posting it you wouldnt happen to have one for the pentose phosphate pathway or the electron transfer chain would you... again thanks for posting this video its very informative and easy to follow
I don't understand how is this a good tutorial...only 3 out of 10 reactions of Glycolysis are shown .....the allosteric regulation on the PFK enzyme was nicley explained as was the dependance of it to ATP levels, but the importance of NAD+ as the limitant substrate of the whole pathway was left out and also the role of NADH as the carrier of the chemical potential energy wich will be the main source of ATP production on the mitochondria
Currently, I'm not in college. In fact, I'm still i a HS-type system. This is amazing to me. The whole process of cellular respiration intrigues me enough to do A LOT of independent research.
This level of detail is ideal for MCAT students. The tutorial presents a bit more than most undergraduate biology classes require, however med students must know more than this!
@MakeUpJunkee really? we are studying this right now in grade 12. I though MCAT's questions are harder and include only things that you study in university...? ..
that was a very boring way to describe glycolysis :(

I am confident that she has the most bored sounding voice I have ever heard. Not good for trying to engrane stuff into my mind!

These videos are EXACTLY what we are studying in my first biology class. This is a great video for tutoring. Just great.

If I go over this video, one ones you have on fermentation and the Krebs cycle would I be good material wise for the MCAT?

@draznitelka it'd be foolish to think the mcat only covers glycolysis.

@cypdxmfight02 i never said it includes only that. i said i thought it was only material covered in university not high school....
