  • I'm sorry if I missed the answer already, but does the mat come with the set-up?

  • thanks for taking the time to make this awesome review

  • Thanks mate. I've just ordered a Traveller and a tarp from DD on the strength of this. I want to be as uobtrusive as poss when I'm in France this month and camping wild, which is illegal. But don't confuse me with someone who gives a. I only leave footprints and take photos, plus my French is OK, so I should survive. There seem to be plenty of woods on the way down to Normandy and I only want to be seen by wild-lfe. Cheers.

  • Hi Paddy. Do you ever need a bivi when using the hammock / tarp arrangement. I've just ordered a traveler and tarp from D D. Regards

  • Great video, also, whats wrong with using one of the half foam half inflatable mats between the two layers? like a thermarest style mat for instance, I'm after a mat that I can use in the hammock and on the ground if necessary, and it seems the inflatable foam mattresses seem to get voted number on the ground, but most of the time I plan on using the hammock off the ground. Also, are there any length sleeping mats that are too big to fit in between the two layers of hammock fabric? thanks

  • Just a quick note to say thanks for your kind comments. I have also used the snake skins and they make life so much easier.

  • Glad to help, they really are great products
