Well, it's a boat you'll surely be pleased with, with all the work you're putting in her. Nice shape. Are you going to be replacing the wood with foam? Or is there someother option available, like, somehow treating the wood in place?

Probably just use better wood and glass it up good. Yeah, it's pain right now, but will all be forgotten once the throttle revs and the props turning....Mahalo!

Bloody hell USCM, lucky you don't have a wooden leg! Hope you used those beasties as burley! Seaswirl has lovely lines, looks like a great boat to dive off. LOL "we need a bigger boat" and probably some wetsuit clear too I would imagine :}

Seaswirl does have nice lines...it's a '93, and guess they weren't using "structural foam" yet (in those days).

Yeah, I can't wait to go diving off it ... get some bigger fish (like in your vids).

Bought it late last year, the market was going very low... I noticed prices (craig's list) on boats appear to have steadied and maybe even rising ("folks seem to be asking more than 6 months ago...on average)...

whew. This can be restored? Looks like you need lots of tiny boats for them termites. Are you sure this is not technically a replacement? And, nope; you wouldn't catch me but dead in waters with a shark. You got guts. Remember, the sharks may want 'em too.

"you got guts".... Oh no, not me...that guy diving with the GW is Mike Rutzen.

The video was taken from the "Shark Week" series... chapter 8 (I think)...it's really worth the "video rental".. In the series is an hour segment of "diving with sharks" and putting them into "state of tonic" by rubbing nose.

Yeah, it looks worse than it is.....for sure, it's a lot of "elbow grease" and "sweat equity" (and fiberglass itching)..but it's actually worth it "cost-benefit-risk analysis".
