Religions and Governments create and US and a THEM, let go of your boundaries. Let go of your differences and Let go of your Labels, When they can no longer create and US and a THEM the wars come to an END.
Wars are only possible by one concept: Willingly choosing to believe without evidence. We can stop all wars by simply insisting on evidence for any beliefs we choose to hold. You can be part of the solution, learn to thinking critical, learn and understand how your own brain can fool you. ( confirmation bias ) Do your own thinking, don't ever let another man or women do your thinking for you. We all do this and no wars can ever happen, propaganda will fail.
@pascalwify I understand your anguish my friend. This is what goes on. Forgive the ugly images but I think you'll agree we need to know the hells our politicians create for ordinary people. Respect and peace to you.
say this to the death kids - this is the typical stupid american "i am so proud for my flag" - and i dont use my brain to verify whats going on a independend press.
nobody wants you there - even the peoples there.
the attack on the iraq was an aggressive war act - and you'r proud for the soldiers there!?!
fuck of america warmonger with a big gun lobby and "yes sayer government" great britain
@gavalon77 I believe in freedom of speech and you are welcome to debate the causes of war on my video. All I ask is that you refrain from any bad language and hate speech. You clearly speak English as a second language my friend but I respect your right to hold your opinions. You made your point.
@gavalon77 Considering that I can't find a direct link to rovot1, someone's going to get this. America has always stood for FREEDOM. Children died on 9/11 without a need to do so because of a war that's been waged for over 2,000 years. The U.S. has been established for over 200 years. Warmongers exist because they have no other way out. This is not the American way. Learn this or remain lower than the dirt you came from. Extremists are the CANCER of humanity. Kill yourselves in seclusion!!!
@Diesel0207 America stands for freedom you say. This land has historically enslaved the Negros, destroyed Native American culture, overthrown a dozen governments by force or by using CIA proxies, supported to the hilt the Israelis who commit dreadful crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, Intervened in 50 countries since world war 2, set unfair trade rules which impoverish millions, use 25% of the worlds raw materials for 3% of its population? Open your eyes the USA is no angel
@litlebarry You're spot on, the news is censored and we're kept in the dark. You can be sure our special forces / intelligence service is well involved in Libya at the moment. Treat us like mushrooms (Kept in the dark and fed a lot of manure) while decent young people die for oil, power and other 'strategic' interests.
@MidEasterner You're welcome - as somebody from of Middle Eastern origins, I feel this great suffering on many levels. I feel the pain that so many average people experiance as the result of wars and political machinations. War is not always the answer - in fact it should only ever be the last choice. Nobody ever gains through wars - certainly not those brave soldiers or civilians caught up in the carnage. This beautiful, tragic piece brings the message home - its stunningly emotive.
@MidEasterner, Thanks man, the music (Vide Cor Meum - See my Heart) is so beautiful that it contrasts with the ugly images of war. We hide those images in the west, we don't want to see shattered bodies, dead children, yet that is the reality in Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza and many other places. We forget so quickly, who remembers the Shabra and Chatilla refugee camps in the Lebanon in the 80s? Crimes go unpunished, killers walk free. It is so sad and so cynical.
The is excellent because it shows the sacrifice, suffering and death of people in war everywhere. It's universal and something people need to see. I shared it on my Facebook community page on Memorial Day 2010 (USA). I support the makers completely; agree with them and sincerely thank them for sharing it.
It is terrible ...but true ... Thank you for share, it makes us see that while we are concern ebout little things of everyday there are much more outside, people that are sufering.
Es terrible , pero verdad , y gracias por compartir , esto demuestra que cuando nos preocupamos por tonterias de cada dia , hay mucho mas alli fuera, personas que estan sufriendo.
As I said at the end of the vid, this is non political and non judgemental, it merely tries to show the consequences of war on all human beings caught up in it regardless of their role. I had pure intentions making this and reject your claims of cynicism. As for Oil or WMD, the Politicians clearly lied to us in order to further their own hidden agendas. History will judge them. This however, is about evil of war per se, not a political (or cynical) statement.
Thanks Californiagirl, I guess some of those images are disturbing but that was the point. War leaves scars and loss long after the conflict is over and off the news channels. Those families who have lost loved ones or had brothers, sisters, fathers maimed have to live with it forever. I deliberately showed images of soldiers interacting with peacefully people to emphasise that we are all human beings and have the capacity to relate to others.
Why?

@Houdini774 , Why? The usual human stupidity, greed, power hunger, hatred, strategic interest, etc, etc.

Pretty tough viewing from middle england here. War is so sanitised by the time we hear about it.
Also the politicians only allow us to hear a certain amount to retain favour for our presence in Iraq, Libiya or Afghan.
I have a close friend who was in Afghan; an dreaded the new every day, just in case.
I cant imagine how the families feel.
