Not to sound like a deuche, but did you listen to the lyrics before making the video? The vid's got nothing to do with the song! Might wanna keep that in mind for the next one. All you've got is a random creepy mook stalking a hot girl.

Best parts were the band sequences. And considering the song has the word "I" a lot and is told from a 1st perspective, make the actor the singer? Just a thought.

I think you miss the point, not of the song, but of music videos in general. Using "I" does not mean the singer has to be the actor. The great thing about music, and Mraz in particular, is that it is easy to feel the emotion, hence the listener becomes the "I". You become immersed in the song. I relate to songs where the artist says "I". When it hits my ears, that "I" is me.

I don't mean to belittle your efforts. I just don't see the connection between the song and events in the video, that's all.

It's a song about a girl he loved whom he shared something special with, who rejected him, and he's telling himself that he doesn't hurt (even though he does) so he can move on and forget about her. Your character just follows this girl around all over the place, trying to win her over (rather creepily), and wins her in the end. The action doesn't match the lyrics at all.

i took the song for a situation where this guy has a friend, girl, who is in love with him but he does not see her that way. in fact, he even makes fun of her with the rest of the group. but the whole time, she is in love with him. unrequited love.
