Depends on the year and engine option. Fact is, an L88, LS5+, Z06 and Zr1 would beat it, however a bone stock corvette (same year vs same year) the GN would win hands down. But if you were to back track a few years (1967 - 1971) a corvette would win. Shit a stock L88 with sticky tires can run the 1/4 mile in the high 10's low 11's, the LS 454's of the 70's were pushing well over 500hp.
