TREEmendous style, looks like he invented the rock guitar God role...& the first 'one handed' part of the solo is better (just listen=I'd marry that incredible liquid golden tone & vibrato) than most people's 2 hands (add in the crunching wah-wah punctuation)..but couldve trimmed it. Ergo great producer&tasty crunchy unforgettable song breaks. True stylist

Mick - the masculine foil to Bowie's more effeminate, or whatever you want to call it character. (ie: telling people he was gay, wearing a dress, etc.) Ronno was always athletic looking - even with makeup. When Bowie suggested Mick tell the world he was gay too, he was furious & quit the band (for about 2 minutes) Poor guy - just wanted to play, produce, arrange and generally be the best sideman Bowie could ever DREAM OF. I don't think Bowie appreciated Mick as much as he should have.

Page 67: (Suzi Ronson sez) "David wanted Mick to pretend that he was gay....Mick got really, really, really cross and said, 'No fuckin' way and stormed off. I think he went back up to Hull.
