  • Vinnie replaced Ace, Mark repalced Vinni, Bruce replaced Mark. All my respect to Bruce, very good guitar player...but, for me, always soooo boring!!!!

  • By the way Kulick replaced Vinnie Vincent not Ace Frehley..... Vinnie Vincent replaced Frehley

  • @mrdouglas51510

    Kulick replaced Mark St John..

  • Vinnie Vincent was a moody prick that just did'nt get along with anyone and Mark St John had, a hand problem called Reiders Syndrome that made his hands swell up.Bruce was the natural choice as his brother Bob Kulick had previously done some guitar work for KISS in the 70's on Alive II and on Paul Stanleys 1978 solo album.

  • The Beatles, Creme, Yes, are all Bruce's Influences. He started playing tapping runs in the 80's to keep up with current trends. He's definatly kicked KISS into the 80's with his technical soloing. Other Ace Frehley replacements of the 80's Vinnie Vincent, Mark St John where just as technical but did'nt get on for their own reasons.

  • Bruce is a great guitarist, no doubt about it. He made Kiss complete and ready for the 80's.

  • @LeMcCHarStar4ever

No he didnt, VV helped them on Lick it up and Mark St John was AMAZING on Amimalize which was a massive album for them

  • @Tricksterize good point, even though Mark didn't perform a lot with KISS due to his illness and Vinnie was fired cuz he was such a douche, they both had amazing talent. it was wrong of me to forget about them both

  • Totally Van Halen influence!
